What makes us unique...
Few businesses can truly claim to be unique, but Santa Rosa’s Master Cleaners has the history, the experience and the facility to stake that claim. Our custom carpet cleaning facility celebrated its grand opening in 1947 as Santa Rosa Rug and Upholstery Cleaners. Ours was not only the first carpet cleaning facility north of the Golden Gate; it remains to be the only facility of its kind. Daily we provide both retail and wholesale clients with expert knowledge and care.
In 1951 our work grew to include custom care of fine fabrics as well as floor coverings. We became well known for our craftsmanship and attracted the attention of retailers and carpet mills to inspect materials and solve special challenges. Our comprehensive maintenance guidelines, for installed fabric coverings, remain a fixture in the industry.
Around 1980, a recognized on-location specialist, Peter Masi created a business catering to cleaning wall to wall carpet, upholstery, area rugs and stone & tile. He called the business Master Cleaners. In 1997 he purchased Santa Rosa Rug and Upholstery and changed the name to Master Cleaners. Today Peter and his team provide the widest array of services associated with the only carpet cleaning facility of its type.
